Paul specialises in generating solutions to complex problems alongside communities around the world. Currently living just out of London, Paul co-ordinates the Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG2) Advocacy Hub secretariat incubated by the World Food Programme. Uniting the Private Sector, UN agencies, NGOs and Civil Society together, the SDG2 Advocacy Hub strives to strengthen efforts towards seeing zero hunger by 2030. Working strategically alongside advocates globally, Paul seeks to generate disruptive change that will impact not only the distribution of food, but the way we interact with food for years to come. Most recently working closely with chefs, through online outreach and a series of workshops, over 130 chefs from 38 countries have co-created a Chefs’ Manifesto. Developed by chefs, for chefs, the Manifesto outlines the food system issues that chefs are most passionate about tackling and an action plan to achieve this.
Paul has extensive knowledge of the Not For Profit Sector, as well as vast experience managing complex stakeholder relationships. Having worked for 15 years with World Vision Australia, New Zealand, Chile, and the Global Headquarters, his career has focussed on the belief that it is possible to end global poverty. He has worked in communities throughout Africa, Asia, The Middle East, Europe and The Americas, to bring about positive, lasting, sustainable change. He is a strong advocate for good development, working alongside communities to improve livelihoods.
