Sami Osman has over a decade’s experience in climate policy. At the Climate Action Reserve, he manages the development of new carbon offset protocols and the maintenance and interpretation of existing protocols. This includes advising project developers, verifiers and interested stakeholders on the use of protocols. Past work has included consulting to entities spanning North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. At present Sami is leading development of a carbon offset protocol for regenerative agricultural practices, for use in the US. Sami has a background in GHG management, climate change policy and wider sustainability consulting. He is also a stay at home single parent to one happy and curious little girl.
